Continue reading to learn ways to straighten your hair without heat.
Products to use beforehand: Determining what products to use can be key to finding what will not only straighten your hair the best, but will keep hair straight for a long period. Finding the perfect product for your specific hair type may be stressful at first, but when you find what works for your hair, you will fall in love all over again. Please remember that shampoos & conditioners can’t alone straighten your curly hair and you need to adopt to few other available methods like hair straightening etc.
Blow dry hair on cool setting: I think it is amazing that almost every blow dryer that you find now has the cool setting. It may take an extra thirty minutes to blow dry your hair, but it is worth the healthier and shiner hair. Separate your hair into four parts and straighten one section at a time. Brush your hair through the comb while applying a blow dryer setting of cool on your hair. Continue pulling the comb through until your hair looks completely straight.
Eggs with Olive Oil: Perhaps this is the simple one of all. Blend two eggs and add 4 tablespoons of olive oil. Apply the mixture for good 45 minutes and wash off with a good conditioning shampoo. Repeat this atleast 3-4 weeks to see results.
Milk, Honey & Banana Paste: Take adequate amount of milk depending on your hair length and add 3-4 tablespoons of honey to it. Add banana to make the paste thicker & apply it for 30 minutes before you wash off with a conditioner. This is a tested and proven way to straighten your curly hair. Alternatively, you can spray just milk to straighten your hair.
Coconut & Lime Juice Paste – Mix coconut oil with fresh lime & put the mixture in refrigerator for 45 minutes. Massage it on your scalp and wrap it with a hot towel before applying your favorite shampoo.
Repeat the process twice in a week to get best results.

Naturally dry: When naturally drying your hair, blot your hair with towel, comb through hair, and then blot hair until it is semi-dry. Then you have the option of just hanging around or you can sit in front of a fan. Now, my grandmother always told me to never go outside or sit in front of a fan with wet hair because she feared I would catch a cold. However, I have sat by a big window fan and let my wet hair dry several times without a cough or sniffle. If you go this route, firstly, do not tell my grandmother. Secondly, use plenty of hair products to reduce frizz and continue to brush through your hair every 5-10 minutes. Depending on how thick your hair is, this process could take anywhere from thirty minutes to an hour.
Things to avoid: Avoid the brown sugar treatment that is a top online trend. It is suggested to put a cup of brown sugar mixed with a cup of water into a spray bottle and spray on towel-dried hair. All of the information I gathered shows that this idea just makes a huge sticky mess. There was another trend where people put mayonnaise and grease in their hair to make it straight. I would say, follow your gut feeling, if it sounds disgusting, it probably is.
