3 Super Easy Homemade Peel-Off Masks to Clear Blackheads
When it comes to getting a clear and flawless skin by uprooting blackheads, nothing can be better than peel-off masks. If you suffer a lot from this awful skin issue, the chance is big that you are already using one from those easily available in the market. But what about preparing a peel-off mask at the home and treating your blackheads in an all natural way? Let us show you how:
1. Egg White and Lemon Juice Peel-Off Mask
Ingredients:
- Egg white – 2
- Fresh lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
- A thin tissue
- A small bowl
- A small spoon
- A face / pastry brush (soft-bristled)
Instructions:
Crack open the eggs and separate their white portions from their yellow portions very carefully. Place the egg whites in the small mixing bowl and beat or whisk well. Add the fresh lemon juice to it and mix thoroughly by using the spoon. It should form a sticky semi-transparent mixture of thin consistency. Now, clean and wash your face to start the application. Spread the mask all over your face (excluding the sensitive eye and mouth areas) evenly by using the face or pastry brush. Make a cut out of your face (keeping the portion of eyes, nose and lips blank) with the tissue and place it over the mask slowly. Pat slightly so that it sticks to the mask (you can also make small pieces of the tissue and cover your entire face or simply skip the tissue-part). Spread the remaining mixture over the tissue uniformly and let it dry. After 20 to 25 minutes, the entire thing will dry up and become stiff enough due to the presence of egg white. Now, start peeling the mask off your face by pulling it gently in an upward direction. Your blackheads will come off with the peels. Finally, wash off your face with lukewarm water.
2. Egg Yolk, Organic milk and Gelatin Peel-Off Mask
Ingredients:
- Egg yolk – 1
- Fresh raw organic milk – 2 tablespoons
- Gelatin – 1 tablespoon
- 2 small bowls
- A spoon
- A face / pastry brush
Instructions:
Break the egg and separate the yolk from the white portion carefully. Put the yolk in a small mixing bowl and beat nicely with a spoon. Keep it aside. Now, put the gelatin in the other bowl and pour raw organic milk into it. Place the bowl over low flame for a couple of minutes and keep stirring for the whole time. Once the gelatin dissolves in the milk, take it out of the heat and cool down. Shift the concoction to the mixing bowl and blend well with the beaten egg yolk. Now, clean and wash your face properly and apply the mask all over it avoiding the eyes and lips. Allow it to dry for 25 to 30 minutes. Then, peel the dried mask off the face gently. At last, rinse with lukewarm water followed by a cold water splash.
3. Orange Peel Powder, Milk and Lemon Juice Peel-Off Mask
Ingredients:
- Orange peel powder – 1 tablespoon
- Fresh raw milk – 1 tablespoon
- Fresh lemon juice – 4 to 5 drops
- A mixing bowl
- A spoon
Instructions:
Orange peel powder can be purchased from the market. Otherwise, you can simply peel an orange, dry up the peels under the sun for 5 to 6 days and then reduce them into fine powder. To prepare the mask, all you need to do is add the fresh raw milk and lemon juice to the orange peel powder and mix properly with a spoon until well-blended. Now, cleanse your face and spread the mixture all over it evenly. Let it dry for 20 to 25 minutes. Then, peel it off gently and rinse away the residue with lukewarm water. Do not forget to splash your face with cold water at last.
