Make a rice bag
rice bag
I am sure you are familiar with the remedy of applying a warm bag on sore muscles to relieve the pain but are not sure as to what goes into the bag. To make this, take about a cup of uncooked rice in a small cloth bag or a fresh sock. To this, add a few drops of eucalyptus oil. If you can get some dried rosemary, add that in too, else some mint leaves will make for a good replacement. Tie the end of the bag or sock well, or better still, sew it up. Now heat it in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. Remove and check if you can bear that amount of heat. Apply the compress on your sore muscles. The heat will last about 15-20 minutes during which you can apply it in and around the sore area for quick relief. The bag can be reused many times.
